The hotel is situated in the centre of the town Cerkno and seems more like a family hotel with its pleasant atmosphere than one, that can acommodate up to 180 guests in modern rooms with balcony or air condition.
Facilities include an indoor thermal-water swimming pool, saunas, fitness, tennis, a conference hall.
The hotel is an excellent starting point for hiking and discovering this area by your bike. We will also present the interesting cycling tours to all motorcycle riders at our hotel. There are also many marked hiking and biking trails in the vicinity of the hotel and countless opportunities for hunting, fishing, horseback riding, paragliding, climbing in an variegated landscape.
The history of the most modern Slovenian skiing centre – the Ski centre Cerkno, began in 1982.
Hotel Cerkno was built in 1976. Its first function was to provide accomodation to workers of the factory ETA Cerkno.
Soon after hotel opening Cerkno became an interesting destination to foreign tourists. In 1980 an indoor swimming pool was built and the hotel soon became one of the most popular destinations for swimming clubs from all ex-Yugoslavia.
